It's easy and very inexpensive to join the Juniors section of Llandysul Angling Association. For a year's trout fishing membership, schoolchildren pay just £2 - and you receive club newsletters with Juniors' News pages; you are also welcome to join in our free lessons in flyfishing (during the school summer holidays) and fly tying (during the winter months).
During the winter, when the river is closed for fishing, we have free lessons in fly tying. They are usually held on certain Friday evenings in a venue in Llandysul.
In summer, we have (again free of charge) fly casting and flyfishing lessons on the River Teifi, on Friday afternoons. Occasionally we also have a fishing lesson on a stillwater such as Llysyfran Reservoir.
Instruction is not limited just to fishing: we get help in identifying the nymohs and flies that occur in our river, and that's a great help when we tie flies to 'match the hatch'.
When Llandysul A A contributes to other events - for example the annual Food Festival - we have an opportunity to help too.
